Systems 9000 Plastic housing speakers

Plastic housing speakers:
Ever wonder just what that speaker really is and which radio line it goes with? The Syntor X comes with a standard 15 watt, 8 Ohm speaker for comparison purposes. The amplified speakers are not needed for the Syntor X and they also have special cables with special signal requirements. Here is a list of speaker part numbers and the information I have been able to gather about them:
FSN5510A - 7.5 watt (New Style GTX/LCS 2000)
HSN1000A - Amplified, 6 watt, 2 Ohm (Trunked Mostar/Traxar)
HSN4001A - 15 watts, 8 Ohm, 8' cable, Special HHCH Cable Connector (HSN4018A) (Syntor X)
HSN4000A - 8 watt, 3.2 Ohm, (clamshell Mitrek)
HSN4002A - 3.2 Ohm (White)
HSN4005A - 15 watts, 8 Ohm, 8' cable (Syntor, Trunked Syntor X, Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
HSN4006A - 15 watts, 8 Ohm, 25' cable (Syntor, Trunked Syntor X, Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
HSN4009A - 10 watt, 3.2 Ohm (clamshell Mitrek)
HSN4010A - (White) (Systems 90 Mitrek)
HSN4011A - 20 watt, 8 Ohm, 12' cable, weather resistant (Mitrek, Syntor, Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
HSN4012A - 5 watt (Motrek)
HSN4013A - 5 watt, 4 ohm, 8' cord (Trunked Mostar/Traxar)
HSN4018A - 8 Ohm, 15 watt (Syntor X 9000, Spectra)
HSN4019A - 5 watt, 5 pin connector (Radius M100, Maxtrac)
HSN4020A - 30 watt, 3.2 Ohm (A2 & A3 Basic MaraTrac)
HSN4021A - 30 watt, 3.2 Ohm (A5 HHCH & A7 Advanced MaraTrac)

HSN4029A - 7.5 watt (New Style - M100, LM100)
HSN4030A - 7.5 watt (New Style - LM2000)
HSN6001A - 3.2 Ohm, 10 Watt (Spectra - Louder than HSN4018B)
HSN6003A - Weather Resistant (Spectra Motorcycle)
HSN8145A - 7.5 watt (Slim Rectangle - GM300, M10/M120/M130)
HSN9008A - 7.5 watt (Slim Rectangle - SM series, M1225)
HSN9326A - 5 watt, 16 pin connector (Maxtrac)
MBTSN6031A - 2 Ohm, 8' (2.4mm) cord (MCX-100)
MBTSN6032A - 5 watt, 2 Ohm, 17' (5.2mm) cord (MCX-90, MCX-100, MCX1000)
TSN1001A - Amplified, 6 watt, 2 Ohm, (Shadow Bronze) (Moxy)
TSN1002A - Amplified, 6 watt, 2 Ohm, (Shadow White) (Maxar)
TSN1003A - Amplified, 6 watt, 2 Ohm, (Shadow Plum) (Maxar 80)
TSN1004A - 1 watt, 8' cord, (White) (Pulsar II)
TSN1877A - 3 watt, 8' cord, (White) (Pulsar II)
TSN6015A - 8 Ohm, Weather Resistant (Micor)
TSN6016B - 10 watt, 8 Ohm, 8' cord (Micor, Trunked Syntor X3)
TSN6020A - 8 Ohm, 25' cord (use with Micor TLN1392 PA Module)
TSN6022B - 3 watt, 4 Ohm, (Shadow White) (Maxar)
TSN6025A - 3 watt, 4 Ohm, (Shadow Bronze) (Moxy)
TSN6030A - 5 watt, 4 Ohm, (Shadow Plum) (Maxar 80, Privacy Plus 1000/500)
VSN4003A - Weather Resistant, 10 watt, 10' cord (MCX-100, MCX-100 Motorcycle Radio)
VSN4006A - Weather Resistant, Speaker, 5 watt, 10' cord (MCX-100 Motorcycle Radio)
YSN4003A - 15 watts, 8 Ohm, 8' cable, Special HHCH Cable Connector (HSN4018A) (Syntor X)
  • The power and impedance ratings are taken from Motorola manuals and product catalogs. However, some speakers have specifications stamped on the speaker magnet that do not agree with the values shown above. For example I have a HSN4013A that uses a 20 watt 2 ohm speaker, not a 5 watt 4 ohm speaker.
